I felt like the tone needs a little adjustment, but for an animated show on Disney XD, I felt like it was as good as it could have been, and I can't wait to see what they are hiding down the line. It felt like a nice entry into a new corner of this lore and it is sure to offer a lot of perspective on things that has happened. Pursued by the Empires sinister agents, Princess Leia. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empires ultimate weapon, the Death Star, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet. I really enjoyed Simon Kinberg's script and his dialogue felt true to the language that has been used in various comicbooks and novels. Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. The animation is spectacular and the look of the series seems to be one of the most intriguing thing about it. Ezra Bridger is the new hero who is to be learned in the ways of the Force by Kanan Jarrus, and while the similarities are there, there is so much more so enjoy. I remember the first teaser that I watched, and it felt like a weird different take on the original "Star Wars." And it is, but it is a lot cooler than that.

This was a great beginning to a series that I didn't know how I was going to feel about. Rebels adds new dimension to an unexplored sector of the Star Wars timeline, inserting a ragtag group of lovable characters into a galactic adventure that all.

First of all, I am reviewing these two episodes as one, as I feel like they compliment each other and are best watched as an extra long episode.
